Qwest tops among Colorado companies on Fortune 500

Qwest landed the top spot for
Colorado
companies on the 2009 Fortune 500 list. The telecom was
one of 11 Colorado companies on the
list this year.
Qwest, with nearly $13.5 billion in revenue last year, was
ranked at No. 197.
Following Qwest was Dish Networks at No. 231; Liberty Global,
257; Liberty Media, 265; First Data, 295; Ball, 336; Newmont
Mining, 400; ProLogis, 426; CH2M Hill, 436; Western Union, 451;
and Molson Coors, 487.
The list, which was released Sunday, ranked Exxon Mobil Corp. as
the largest company, unseating Wal-Mart, which fell to the No. 2
slot.
